What are the construction aspects of the Laugh and Learn Learning Home by fisher price?

m

i have a project due next wednesday and i have searched all over google to find things like the materials used, durabilityy, safety and ease in cleaning for this product. i have spent the past 40 mins in the class now searching for this.

Another thing i need to know is if the toy will grow along with thechild'ssDevelopmentt. Most people said it will last until the child is 2 and that theydon'ttusuallyy get bored of the toy. is that good enough of an answer do you think?

Answer
The Laugh and Learn Learning Home by Fisher Price is a learning toy that is designed for infants and toddlers ages 6 months to 3 years of age.

The learning aspects associated with this toy are:
Letters - alphabet with sing along radio
Numbers and counting - dropping balls for counting fun with music and spin the numbers on the house and move the dials on the clock to different numbers
Shapes and colors - with shape sorter
Opposites - up/down, on/off, open/close, day/night

The size of this toy is 29" H x 31" W x 23" D

This toy is made up of the following plastic parts:
base center with door mat, base end with roller, wall with flowerpot, wall with mailbox, base end with book, 2 rainspout halves, shaper sorter half plain, shaper sorter half with shapes, door, house number assembly, clock, 3 pieces of mail, handle half, handle half with 3 holes, door knob with hole, door knob, 4 shape sorter blocks, 3 balls.

In addition to the plastic parts, this toy also comes with a label sheet of stickers that need to be applied to the various plastic pieces.

The toy is held together with a total of 38 screws.

The toy requires 3 C sized batteries that go in a battery door with a screw closure

To clean the toy, Fisher Price recommends that you wipe the toy with a clean damp cloth with a mild soap and water solution. They tell you not to immerse the toy in water.

The small parts such as the sorting shapes, might be tempting for little kids to put in their mouths, but the pieces are too large to swallow. Key and other small parts are easy to lose. Flowers are flimsy and break off easily.

This toy was released in 2004

Silly question... does anyone know what the songs are on the fisher price crawl-along drum roll?

kat

I recognize some of the songs, but I can't place them!! :)

Answer
That's a good question ... I'd call Fisher Price and ask them! I looked for the song list but it only states there are four songs.

Here's the number listed on their site:
